William Dixon Sr. was born February 22, 1951 in Marengo County, Alabama to Ressie Virginia Lewis and Willie Earl Dixon. William better known as Fred graduated from Marengo High School and went on to play college football at Miles College until he injured his knee. Fred was a truck driver for 27 years until he retired.
Fred was proceeded in death by his parents Ressie Virginia Lewis and Willie Earl Dixon. Four sisters Bertha Allen, Annie Gordon, Rozetta Beckett and Essie White. Six brothers Jimmy Allen, Charlie Marshall, Wendell Marshall, Frank Marshall, Theathur Dixon, and Bobby Dixon. And one devoted uncle Johnny Dixon Jr.
Surviving to cherish his memories of life are his wife Brenda Dixon of Dixons Mills, AL, two daughters June Dixon Walker(Johnathan) of Huntsville, AL and Princess Dixon Smith( Domis) of Fairburn, GA. One son William Fred Dixon Jr.(Carmenetta) of Huntsville, AL. Six loving granddaughters Jordyne Walker, Johnasia Walker, Kayleigh Haygood, Kaytlynn Haygood, Alicia Dixon and Alasha Dixon. One grandson Jacolby Dixon and one great grandson Justice Dixon. Two sisters Virginia Lawson (John) Selma, AL and Ethel Graves(Johnny) long Island, New York. Five brothers Rev, Charles Dixon Sr. (Deloris) Momtgomery, AL, Asice Marshall Selma AL, Lee Marshall, Jacksonville, FL, Terry Marshall (Kwamsheika) Huntsville, AL and Limmie (Terri) Pushmataha, AL. and a devoted friend for over 40 years Roy Nobles(Davita) of Mobile, AL. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends of who will miss him greatly.
