Obituary

Walter was born April 18, 1954, to the late Leroy Morrissette and Stella Mae (Herbert) Armstead. At an early age, he confessed Christ and joined the Midway Baptist Church in Dickinson, Alabama. He attended Clarke County High School and Job Corps. He worked at Scotch Lumber Company and Thomasville Baptist Church. Cool Boo always brought the energy when he walked into the room. He never met a stranger. He impacted the lives of many people. He was preceded in death by his loving daughter, Lawanda Morrissette; one sister, Elouise (Wendell) Agee and one brother, Roy Morrissette. He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving wife, Alvenia Morrissette; two sons, Reginald (Vershsonda) and Derrick (Demetrish) Morrissette; seven grandchildren; one sister, Bettie Morrissette; one brother, Tommy Wallace; one devoted aunt, Equilla Shamburger; one sister-in-law, Annie P. McCaskill; two brothers-in-law, William and Gery Cunningham; a devoted cousin, Larry Shamburger and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
