Marion Jerome Hudson, Sr. was born on December 2, 1959 in Sweet Water, AL to the parentage of the late John Hudson, Sr. and Leola Hudson. He confessed Christ at an early age, and joined the Star Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, Sweet Water, Alabama. On May 26, 2021, Marion exchanged this earthly home for his eternal home while at the Choctaw Health and Rehab Nursing Home in Butler, AL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Leola Hudson, and seven siblings, John, Jr., Trice, Joe, Sr., Jimmie Dee, Irma, Murriel, and Thelma.
Marion was loved and respected by many, and memories of times shared shall remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He leaves behind to cherish fond memories, his loving wife, Kimberly Hudson of Dixons Mills, AL, three loving sons, Darius (Talessia) Hudson of Eareckson Air Station Alaska, Marion Hudson, Jr. of Clayton, North Carolina, and DeLeon Hudson, Sr. of Durham, North Carolina; three step children whom he loved and cared for as his own, Tashun Mills and Iesha (Tommie) Bouler of Dixons Mills, AL, and Eliza (Jessie) Hall of Pine Hill, AL; two loving sisters, Louise Dixon of Sweet Water, AL and Margaree (Henry) Harris of Flint, MI. and one nephew raised as his brother, Lanea (Cassandra) Hudson of Thomasville, AL. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren of whom possessed a special place in his heart, Skyler D. Martin, DeLeon Hudson, Jr., Derianna Poellnitz, Tykeisha Shamberger, Jeremiah Bouler, Pamela Bouler, Tyler Smith, Tashun Mills, Jr. and Ja’Veon Hall.
Marion leaves a host of other family and friends, including his best friend Hugh Watkins of Auburn, AL who will always have memories to reflect on in the days ahead.
